Aaron Rodgers Game Day Double Check
State Farm needed to connect with football fans and break through the digital clutter of the NFL season. Easier said than done. So we tapped into fans' nostalgia for the video games of their childhood and turned former NFL MVP, State Farm spokesperson, and ayahuasca enthusiast, Aaron Rodgers into an 12-bit video game character. The videos featured well-known State Farm IP and Aaron’s signature move: the Discount Double Check.

The next year, we went back to live action, and used our spots to tease long-form content online. Most seasons, the spots are aired to death by week two. But we created dozens of teasers and short videos of Aaron and his teammates to keep the content fresh all season, and give people more chance to see their favorite State Farm spokesperson, and conspiracy theorist, in action.
