Kanye West vs Your Creative Director
A creative side project that got passed around the Internet faster than you can say “Welcome to the good life!” The website was a simple game prompting users to click through a series of quotes and guess which of god’s greatest gifts said it: rapper and self-appointed 8th Wonder of the World, Kanye West, or the winner of a 1996 CLIO for a TV spot that ran once at 2am, your creative director. The Internet loved it, and no one got sued. Win win.
Hundreds of participants uploaded their own quotes to the game making it even more robust, personalized and frankly, absurd.
The hashtag #kanyevscreative received over one million impressions on Twitter within week one. The creative community went wild. Even The Onion made a parody.
